The Honest Rabbit : In a beautiful green forest, there lived a little rabbit named Chinku. He was kind, helpful, and always honest. All the animals in the forest loved him.
One day, while hopping along a forest path, Chinku found a basket filled with fresh, red apples.
He thought, “These apples don’t belong to me. I should find their owner.”
So, Chinku carried the basket and asked every animal he met, “Is this basket yours?”
After a while, he found an old deer sitting under a tree looking very sad.
The deer said, “I lost my basket of apples. I’ve been looking for it everywhere.”
Chinku smiled and asked, “Is this your basket?”
The deer’s face lit up with joy.
“Yes! That’s my basket! Thank you so much!” he said.
The deer offered Chinku a few apples as a reward.
But Chinku smiled politely and replied, “I was only doing the right thing.”
The deer said warmly, “Honesty is the greatest gift. Good children like you make the world a better place.”
From that day on, all the animals admired Chinku even more. He learned that honesty always brings respect, trust, and happiness.
Moral of the Story: Honesty is the best policy.
ईमानदार खरगोश The Honest Rabbit
एक हरे-भरे जंगल में चिंकू नाम का एक छोटा खरगोश रहता था। वह बहुत ही दयालु और ईमानदार था। जंगल के सभी जानवर उसे बहुत प्यार करते थे।
एक दिन चिंकू को रास्ते में एक सुंदर टोकरी मिली। टोकरी में ताज़े-ताज़े लाल सेब रखे थे।
चिंकू ने सोचा, “ये सेब मेरे नहीं हैं। मुझे इनके असली मालिक को ढूँढ़ना चाहिए।”
वह टोकरी लेकर पूरे जंगल में घूमने लगा और सभी से पूछने लगा, “क्या ये टोकरी आपकी है?”
कुछ देर बाद उसे एक बूढ़ा हिरन उदास बैठा मिला।
हिरन ने कहा, “मैं अपनी सेबों की टोकरी ढूँढ़ रहा हूँ। वह कहीं रास्ते में खो गई है।”
चिंकू मुस्कुराया और बोला, “क्या यह वही टोकरी है?”
हिरन की आँखों में खुशी चमक उठी। उसने कहा, “हाँ! यही मेरी टोकरी है। तुम्हारा बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद।”
हिरन ने खुशी-खुशी कुछ सेब चिंकू को देने चाहे।
लेकिन चिंकू ने मुस्कुराकर कहा, “मैंने तो सिर्फ अपना कर्तव्य निभाया है।”
हिरन ने प्यार से कहा, “ईमानदारी सबसे बड़ा उपहार है। ऐसे अच्छे बच्चे दुनिया को और सुंदर बनाते हैं।”
उस दिन जंगल के सभी जानवरों ने चिंकू की ईमानदारी की खूब प्रशंसा की। चिंकू समझ गया कि सच्चाई और ईमानदारी से हमेशा सम्मान और खुशी मिलती है।
सीख: ईमानदारी सबसे अच्छी नीति है।
