- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil (Ghee) or Clarified Butter or Mustard Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 inch Ginger chopped
- 2 Green Chilies chopped
- 4-5 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1 Cauliflower florets Medium Size
- 2 Potatoes diced medium size
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon Garam Masala
For Masala Mixture
- 4 tablespoon Water
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- ½ teaspoon Degi Red Chilli Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Asafetida Hing
- ½ teaspoon Cumin Powder
To Garnish
- 1 tablespoon Coriander Leaves
In a bowl add water, turmeric powder, chilli powder, Asafoetida, cumin powder and mix everything properly then keep aside.
In a Kadai heat ghee and add cumin seeds, ginger, green chilies, garlic and sauté for a few seconds then add the prepared masala mixture and sauté until the ghee starts separating.
Now add cauliflower, potatoes, sprinkle salt.
Sprinkle some water and mix everything properly.
Then cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes checking in between so that it should burn.
Remove the lid and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and garam masala
Mix it well and switch off the gas, cover and keep aside for 2-3 minutes.
Serve with roti, naan, chapati or parathas.
